The title of this article deliberately echoes that symbolic image, reinterpreting it in a different context to suggest the arrival of a new driving force capable of bringing vitality and renewed impetus to Monte delle Vigne.
In fact, everyone at Monte delle Vigne—including the author—would love to have Paola Navello working alongside us in our activities. Paola is not only a wine and oenology expert, but also the driving force behind Aperistreet and carries administrative responsibilities. In short, she is our most versatile colleague, just as Callas is for our wines!
Originally from Piedmont, Paola Navello is a powerhouse of expertise and passion. At Monte delle Vigne, she represents far more than a colleague: she is the driving force of the winery. Able to move seamlessly between diverse tasks—from communication to event management, and even administrative duties—she is a key figure in the day-to-day life of the company.
One of the projects that bears her signature—shared with engineer Numanti—is Aperistreet, the Thursday events at Monte delle Vigne that bring together our wines and Parma’s mobile dining scene. Over time, Paola has overseen every detail, from collaborations with food trucks to communication. The result? Engaging evenings that bring quality wine directly to the people, strengthening the bond between the winery and its territory. Now her legacy is in good hands: Gabriele and Clara know exactly what they’re doing!
With a solid background in oenology, Paola is an extraordinary natural communicator. During guided tours, fairs, and tastings, she knows how to talk about wine with words that are simple yet precise. She is Monte delle Vigne’s credible and authoritative voice, capable of captivating her audience, even those with little knowledge of wine.
In addition to managing B2C marketing, Paola also handles more technical tasks such as accounting and supplier relations. She does so with method, empathy, and a smile that makes everything easier. She combines precision with spontaneity, organization with humanity. Paola knows how to take on various roles within the company with intensity and versatility; her contribution is always effective, grateful, and decisive.
