Another accolade for Monte delle Vigne, which confirms its position among the leading names in the Italian wine scene. During the tastings held for the presentation of Gambero Rosso’s Guida Vini d’Italia 2026, our winery stood out for the quality and character of its labels, capturing the attention of experts, industry professionals, and wine enthusiasts alike.
The renowned guide has included Monte delle Vigne in the “Great Wineries of Italy” section, a category reserved for companies that represent excellence and continuity in Italian winemaking. Three labels contributed to this achievement:
-
Nabucco, the timeless Barbera-Merlot blend and emblem of the winery, combining structure, elegance, and depth.
-
Callas, the iconic Malvasia that expresses the soul and freshness of the Parma Hills terroir with refined sophistication.
-
Monticello, the new Classic Method, the result of oenological research that blends tradition and innovation, opening a new chapter in Monte delle Vigne’s production history.
The tastings and official presentations of the guide took place within a network of top-tier wine shops, true bastions of Italian wine culture. Monte delle Vigne had the honour of participating in each of these stops, bringing with it the taste, passion, and philosophy of the Emilia region.
The wine shops that selected at least two labels from Monte delle Vigne were:
-
El Vinatt – Milano
-
Enoteca Italiana – Bologna
-
Enoteca Vanni – Lucca
-
Enoteca Vignoli – Firenze
-
Enoteca Lucantoni – Roma
Each of these establishments represents an essential point of reference for the promotion and dissemination of Italy’s finest wines, places where expertise, careful selection, and curiosity come together to showcase the richness of the national wine heritage.
The success of the presentations would not have been possible without the invaluable support of the agents and distributors who assisted the winery’s representatives and educators during the events in the various Italian cities.
Monte delle Vigne would like to extend its sincere thanks to: Maria, for the support and professionalism shown during the Milan stop; Fabio, a key reference for the presentation in Bologna; Luca, who guided the tasting in Lucca; Rolando, who—together with our Gabriele—played a leading role in the Florentine event; and Massimiliano, who represented the winery in Rome with expertise and passion.
Thanks to their commitment, the story of Monte delle Vigne reached a wide and attentive audience, strengthening the image of a winery that continues to grow under the banner of quality, territory, and wine culture.
