The evening began with a welcome toast, during which our winery was introduced to the guests, known for its commitment to quality and its sustainable approach to viticulture.
One of the most anticipated and successful moments of the evening was the pairing of Callas with delicious green lasagna with artichokes, a traditional recipe from the Modenese Apennines with a “family story” connected to the person who represents the face of Monte delle Vigne in the province of Modena. Prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, this dish beautifully enhanced the wine’s floral yet complex notes, creating a perfect harmony of flavours. The creaminess of the lasagna, combined with the artichokes’ polyphenols, made the pairing truly unforgettable, winning over the palate of everyone present.
Also Brusata, another highlight of the evening, was not to be missed and captivated guests with its lively character and pronounced acidity. Served alongside a braised beef dish, our pure Barbera, vinified in stainless steel, proved its versatility, showing itself to be the ideal companion to the rich, savoury flavours of the main course.
Overall, the Monte delle Vigne wine tasting evening “on the road” in the Modenese Hills was a triumph of flavours and conviviality, an invitation to rediscover Emilia’s gastronomic and winemaking traditions.
Simone and the Camera Caffè team once again proved to be a true point of reference for lovers of good food and fine wine, delivering an event that celebrated local excellence without fearing the competition of the Sanremo Festival!
Last but not least, Stefano, co-protagonist of this unforgettable sensory experience and the face of Monte delle Vigne in the Modena area, brought the evening to a close with a surprise magnum of Poggio Alto.
