On Saturday the 14th of December 2024, Monte delle Vigne winery organized the third edition of “Anolini in Barricaia”“, an event that celebrated the eno-gastronomic local culture throw one of its most iconic courses: anolini. The event brought more than a hundred people, wine and gastronomy enthusiasts, creating a lovely atmosphere.
This year, everyone had the opportunity to choose between three delicious options. Firstly, the wine tasting: three glasses each, choosing between Monte delle Vigne production. It was an irresistible option for wine lovers. All the winery selection – where the new organic vintage 2021 of Nabucco stood out – has been served by the glass: the perfect pairing to the amouse bouche, by creating a unique sensory trip. The best choices: the pairing between Parmesan Cheese 24 months from Latteria Gavasseto e Roncadella together with the apricot jam and our Primavera, Spumante brut 100% Malvasia di Candia Aromatica and the Parmesan Cheese 34 months with plums jam and Rubina, Spumante brut 100% Barbera. So exceptional the pairing between artisan Panettone by Impasto Zero and the Malvasia Dolce Spumante.
The “anolini da passeggio” represented a convenient and tasty choice, perfect for whom who wanted to taste a typical food in a more informal way. These little filled bon bon, cooked following the tradition by chef Mariano Chiarelli, has been a real homage to the traditional parmesan cuisine. As an alternative, the cold cuts dish satisfied the most demanding palates: it was composed by a selection of high-quality cold cuts. It offered a complete gastronomic experience, perfectly paired to our wines.
The location produced an evocative and fascinating background. Everything has been thought to let the visitors enter not just into the heart of our winery, but also into the Christmas period: the turned-on lanterns, the Christmas lights on the ceiling, the garlands inside barricaia and the beaming of snowflakes on the amphoras created a frame to an event that gathered people from all ages, linked by passion for good food and good wine.
The third edition of “Anolini in Barricaia” was a success: an event for all tastes into a magic location and it confirmed the importance of moments like this that celebrate the eno-gastronomic culture of our land.
