Cà del Gusto – “Pizzeria & Bisteccheria”, became the stage of an unforgettable evening for wine and food lovers in Marina di Carrara. Managed by the patron Saumele Calcagno – known exponent in the world of Carrara food – and by the dynamic Luca Tortelli – Monte delle Vigne symbol in Massa Carrara -, the guests had the opportunity to plunge themselves into a sensory trip throw the prestigious Tuscany meat and our prestigious wines. “Emilia meets Tuscany”was the name of the event, which offered a perfect union of aromas, flavours and knowledge, making this night so memorable.
Samuele Calcagno – friend of Monte delle Vigne project – showed experience and knowledge about our wines, driving hosts throw an evocative tasting trip. Each course has been taught to exalt the wines features, by creating a unique synergy between food and wine. Poggio Alto and plate of cold cuts, Rubina and ragù ravioli, Il Chiuso and the Tuscany tagliata fiorentina and Malvasia Dolce . The culinary experience was an authentic celebration of local flavours and oeno-culinary excellences.
The collaboration between Samuele and Luca imparted to the guests their love for wine and oenologic culture. Their ability of enveloping the public, by answering with competence to all the questions, made the event more and more appreciated.
